    TF2 + unexpected problem = sad panda

    Posted by giantpanda - May 3rd, 2008

So, I ordered TF2 from bestbuy. I had checked the SR, and I thought I met all of them. No such luck, the first problem was that my comp doesn't support DVD-roms. So, I had to load all the files on my freinds new computer, and bring it to my computer via Flash Drive. About twenty minutes later, I find that I lost my 2gig flash drive, and some of the files on the disk were 1.5 gigs. So, I had to wait until my dad got home to ask him where his external hard drive was. I got it, and transferred the last of the files to my computer. So, I begin installing everything. about half an hour later, I begin to boot up the game. Waiting.
Waiting. Waiting. A error message pops up. "Team Fortress 2 requires a graphics card that supports at least pixel shader 1.1" So, I begin trying to find out what card I have, as perhaps I could get an emulator instead of buying a new graphics card. It took me 10 minutes to find. I have some really sucky radeon card. I also found out the an emulator wouldn't help with that card. I'm going to bestbuy tomorrow to buy a new one >.>
